What does matter most to be consistent?
This is how I think about consistency
Hello,
I hope you’re doing well! As the year comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the skills you need and areas for improvement. Growth requires consistency—doing the same things repeatedly, even when it gets tough.
Here are some thoughts on staying consistent:
1. Recharge Your Mindset
Motivation fades with routine. Recharge your “battery” regularly—books are a great source of inspiration and renewal.
2. Curate Your Input
You are the sum of what you consume: the people you surround yourself with, the content you watch, and the podcasts you listen to. If you want to be a programmer, for instance, immerse yourself in that world.
3. Eliminate Distractions
Many say they’re “too busy,” but often, it’s distractions taking over. Focus on what truly matters.
4. Play the Long Game
You can’t control outcomes directly, but you can influence the process. Small, consistent efforts compound into significant results over time.
I highly recommend this post by @sama on the power of compounding: How to Be Successful.
Let’s make next year your most consistent and impactful yet!
Best regards,
Gazi
